Help Desk IT Support – Long Island
As a Help Desk IT Support, you will be supporting our customer base onsite and remotely across Long Island.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, test and install desktop hardware
- Requires a moderate understanding of Active Directory
- Requires knowledge of network security best-practices
- Work with end users when issues arise
- Perform system updates across networks
- Work with end users over the phone to resolve issues
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 Years previous experience in IT Services
- Familiarity with Sonicwall a Plus
- Excellent expertise in troubleshooting hardware and operating system related issues for desktops and laptops
- Working knowledge of Proxy, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMS and MS Active Directory
- Familiarity with Datto/Barracuda Backups a Plus
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and be customer service-oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field a Plus
